The NSW Government is investing in essential maintenance work on Rip Bridge on Maitland Bay Drive, Blackwall, to ensure the safe operation of the bridge.
Transport for NSW will carry out the work which includes general routine bridge maintenance and drilling work.
What work are we doing?
Work includes:
- Establishing a temporary work site
- Using machinery to cut into the Bridge.
- Installing pipes (drainage) underground
- Restoring the works when our investigations are relocations are finished.
When and where we'll be working
We'll be working on Rip Bridge from Monday 7 July. Work is expected to be completed in three weeks, weather permitting. Working hours are 7pm to 5am, Sunday to Thursday.
