The inaugural Family Fun Day @ Attunga Park

The inaugural St Huberts Island Family Fun @ Attunga Park was held on Sunday 14 August from about 11 am till there was no- one there (mid afternoon).

A coffee van was organised from 11 am, and it was very well received and used by many of the coffee (and tea) aficionados. One of the families also set up a cupcake stand with a range of very delicious (at least I think so!) cupcakes for a reasonable cost.

It was a very casual and floating type day where families dropped in and out when able to.
It was difficult to arrive at an attendance number on this pleasant sunny day, but maybe 30 people overall attended.
This Fun Day will be organised every three months or so using the new Facebook “St Huberts Social Chit Chat” closed page.

The purpose of the FunDay is for Island residents, including their children, grandparents and friends to make contact in a very informal manner and setting, and maybe build common interests and friendships. It is not an “official” Residents Association event, but organised by some Committee members with young children.
